Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

  • All performances in Joe’s Pub do not require a face mask because food and drink are available throughout the show. A face mask is strongly encourage when not actively eating or drinking.

Raúl Cantizano feat. Los Voluble: Zona Acordonada, part of Flamenco Festival NY

Raúl Cantizano, born in Seville, is an influential performer in the European music scene who has been part of some of the most innovative flamenco projects of the 21st century. His work has transcended musical boundaries and incorporated various styles while still maintaining the essence of flamenco. Engaging audiences with his commanding performances on guitar, he has worked with Rocío Márquez, Niño de Elche, and Belén Maya, among others.Zona Acordonada, which premiered in 2021 at the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, is a transmedia prepared guitar concert which features audiovisual remix, sound art, experimental music, and flamenco. The work is performed with Los Voluble, the duo of Pedro and Benito Jiménez that re-contextualizes flamenco within the recent history of dance music.
