Part 80s synth-pop concert, part living puppet show, part fever dream, Doll/Girl tells the story of Greer Lankton, a trans visual artist who created evocative and haunting soft sculptured dolls that represented members of her personal community, as well as autobiographical elements of her identity and experiences. Greer is the central figure in the musical with a chorus of three of Greer’s most iconic dolls; Candy Darling, Sissy, and Jesus/Mary portrayed by an ensemble of trans, genderqueer and gender non-conforming actors.
