Civic Salon: NEW PARADIGMS

CIVIC SALON: NEW PARADIGMS

Zoom
Live on September 14 at 7:00PM EST

Featuring a Civic Keynote by actress, playwright, educator and arts advocate Nikkole Salter
Music by Starr Busby

Our monthly Civic Salons are back, and they’ve gone digital! We're excited to rekindle our space of connection and inspiration with Civic Salon: NEW PARADIGMS. 2020 is a year of constant change and a portal to a brave new world. But as we take an active role in shifting the systems that no longer serve us, how can we envision a future that serves us all? Join noted playwright and advocate Nikkole Salter as we ask: what values will you bring with you into the future, and what are you willing to leave behind?

Civic Salons are a community crossroads where artists and audiences can come together to nurture our minds and our bodies. Through songs, poetry, text, and speeches, Civic Salons feature artists, activists, and organizers who are using their voices to create change in their communities. Break bread with your neighbor, raise your voice in song, and leave inspired.
