Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program
Arts practitioners and artists who have been experiencing housing instability or are having trouble making rent or mortgage payments as a result of the coronavirus pandemic should know that they are not alone. Federal, state, and local governments are offering help with housing expenses and avoiding eviction.

Theatre Artists Relief Fund
The American Theatre Wing, with the council and guidance of the Obie Awards’ Judges Panel (co-chaired by Obie-winning scenic designer Rachel Hauck and choreographer Sam Pinkleton), has created a $250,000 Theatre Artists Relief Fund in order to get money directly into the hands of artists. This fund, which is generously supported by the Edwin Barbey Charitable Trust and the theatrical production company No Guarantees, will grant each of these artists $500 to help sustain them during this period of mandatory shutdowns. Our hearts are with each of these artists, theatre workers, and technicians; we see you, and we want to support you.

FCA Arts COVID-19 Relief Fund
Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grants provide urgent funding for visual and performing artists who incur unexpected or unbudgeted expenses for projects close to completion with committed exhibition or performance dates.

Emergency Grants
Dramatists Guild Foundation provides emergency financial assistance to individual playwrights, composers, lyricists, and bookwriters in dire need of funds due to severe hardship or unexpected illness.

Covid19 Emergency Grant
Offering unrestricted rapid relief grants to indie theater companies and individual artists in need due to the financial strain of closings etc related to Covid19.

Writers’ Emergency Fund
A small grants program for professional— published or produced—writers in acute or unexpected financial crises.

Economic Relief Grants
For residents of New York City; economic relief grants to needy individuals who are distressed or suffering for a variety of reasons.

Emergency Financial Assistance - The Actor's Fund
While some of the funds are earmarked for members of entertainment unions, you do not need to be a union member to receive help.

New York Foundation for the Arts often receives calls from artists requesting information on emergency grants to serve financial need or an emergency such as bereavement or illness. Grants for individual artists living in the city of Boston whose creative practices and incomes are being adversely impacted by Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Chicago Theatre Workers Relief Fund
Grants of up to $500 for those working in the Chicago theatre industry who have had to stop work and are not getting paid due to COVID-19.

The Creator Fund
ConvertKit has established a $50,000 fund to help creators in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please read the details and then submit your information if you are in need.

Equal Sound Corona Relief Fund
For musicians who have lost work because of the coronavirus crisis.

The Max's Kansas City Project Emergency Grants
Provides emergency funding & resources to professionals in the creative arts; for individuals who have made their living through their art form.

Must be a SAG-AFTRA Member

Emergency Coronavirus Tipped and Service Worker Support Fund
Provides cash assistance to restaurant workers, car service drivers, delivery workers, personal service workers and more who need the money they aren’t getting to survive.

Emergency Fund Survival Fund for LGBTQ2S Artists, Performers, and Tip-Based Workers:  is A fund to help LGBTQ2S people who cannot pay for food, medecine, rent, and neccessities because most of their income doesn't come from an employer.

NYFA Anonymous Was a Woman Emergency Relief Grant
